If you are like me, getting rid of stuff can be hard. But I've found that taking a picture of something before you get rid of it makes it a little easier.
Here you can post your pictures and tell us a little story about your purge. It will offer you some closure and make it a little easier to toss it.
Before you put something in the garbage, try to sell it on eBay or Craig's List. If that doesn't work, try to give it away on Craig's List or FreeCycle. If it's computer equipment or electronics, check for an electronic recycler in your area.

This is a Magnavox two-head VCR from the early 80's. The thing on the left is the power supply. We also had the camera. I got this from my Dad's basement and took it to the electronics recycler. |
